REGGAE ROCKERS began in 2009 to spread our love of Jamaican music and culture.
Monthly sessions at InSpiral Lounge, Camden, ran for 6 years, with resident selector Toby Ranks hosting.
Guest selectors included Nick Manasseh, Perilous Selector, Sir Lennox, Matti Dread and Stereochemist with guest vocalists Bobo Blackstar, Ramon Judah, Bongo Kanny, Prince Tuffy Irie and Gregory Fabulous bringing positive vibes to the sessions.
Rockers have also run sessions at Rototom Sunsplash, One Love and Glade festivals, Hootananny, Jamrock, Purple Turtle, SOAS, Open The Gate, Dub Central and BuXa.
Roots Radics Specials - As a lover of Rub-a-Dub, Toby Ranks remixes early 80’s Channel One studio classics featuring backing band Roots Radics in the style of the time.
