This the one right here. My favorite of the new generation mpcs is the mpc live 2 a complete standalone unit with a built-in speaker and a decent battery. You can take this thing anywhere and make a beat! You can install an ssd in it use the SD card slot or use a USB drive for more storage. You can plug almost anything in it from keyboards to guitars you can even record vocals in it. If you really realty wanted to, you could mix AND master your work straight on it! It doesn't cost a ton of money nowadays to make music especially if you hit the used market I bought all of this on screen used for under 300 bucks including the MacBook and my m audio interface thats off screen
