In this week's video, I make apple-shaped pockets for an apron. These pockets are easy to make and would be cute not just on aprons but also added to a little girl's dress, or you could use them as decoration on placemats & table runners.

Taught to sew by my mom at a young age, I now transform second-hand fabrics, vintage patterns, and upcycled clothing into unique, handcrafted women’s fashion. For me, sewing is more than a craft—it’s a way to honor the past, reduce waste, and express boundless creativity. Every stitch is a celebration of individuality, sustainability, and the joy of making something beautiful from what others might overlook.
When I am not in my sewing room, you will find me in our garden or greenhouse sowing seeds. Growing flowers and vegetables is my second passion, passed down from my dad and shared with my husband, Patrick. In my humble opinion, there is nothing better than a freshly-picked tomato, sliced up, seasoned with salt and pepper to make a simple tomato sandwich.
