About
Founded in 1998, the Midnight Ramblers are an all-male contemporary a cappella group based at the University of Rochester. We have been entertaining audiences at the University of Rochester and beyond for 20 years, and we don't plan on stopping any time soon!
With multiple appearances on prestigious a cappella compilation albums, a collaboration with Ben Folds, and a third place finish at the 2005 ICCA Finals, we've accomplished much in our short history with the founders' original two principles of performance and innovation in mind.
Today's group is still working towards these ideals. In 2018, we reached ICCA semifinals, receiving awards for Outstanding Vocal Percussion at both quarterfinals and semifinals. In the 2016 ICCA season, we earned first runner-up at their semifinal, with awards for Outstanding Arrangement and Outstanding Vocal Percussion.
