About
A true international group, The Emerald Trio brings together musical traditions from Belarus, Lithuania, and Québec. Each of the three musicians are well established in their own countries and have played all over the world as solo and chamber music performers.
The idea for the trio was born in the summer of 2011, at the Music in the Mountains Festival in Durango, Colorado, after a string quartet performance that brought together Aleksandr and Marie-Thaïs. Upon their return to Dallas, they searched for a pianist and found to have a perfect match with an established pianist from Belarus, Andrey Ponochevny.
All three musicians are excited to bring their love of music to the metroplex and beyond.
