Bleach is uniquely beautiful in how it flips dichotomies. The Heroes are mostly selfish in their power and training but it's usually done for the "greater good". While the villains seem to feed on giving out power and gifts to their "allies" but it usually comes with a cost.

Bleach TYBW Spoiler Review. Cour 3 Ep.1.
Spoilers: The opening to cour 3 was very much....not good. I don't understand the heap praised on an episode that is significantly worse than the previous 2. The pacing of the series has not been fixed. We are starting the third forae and nothing has changed. The new content is not distracting enough to take away from the issues.
My main issue: This episode was shockingly disappointing. 15 minutes of intro and recap. That is unacceptable. Intro is still just spoilers and stills of the season instead of a unique expression of the series. More effort was put into Yhwach walking to the soul palace than Ichibei's Bankai. Or anything else. Again the pacing is atrocious, 3 cours straight of bad pacing. The criminally worst bit is, The Almighty. I have seen so many good ideas on how the Almighty could be represented in animation and they chose flash cards...that's just lazy. OSTs and soundtrack continue to get lackluster instead of unique. That's what you get when you adapt 7 chapters in 15 minutes of an episode.
Enjoyed: Yhwach Uryu. Ichibe's Bankai. Blut healing? Yhwach forsaken by his Father? Also I feel like Yhwach reshaping the Royal palace to do his bidding proves my theory that the Soul Society originally belonged to the Quincy. Senjumaru's disgusted look at Uryu was peak art style. The hatred between Soul Reaper and Quincy is palpable now.

This is a topic I have seen a lot of differing opinions on as well as the previous post. So I'm asking you do you think Kubo should have gone in a different direction and made Ichigo a captain (eventually) or at least an official Soul Reaper early on under the Gotei 13 and the soul reaper academy?
