I am MaaMi. A Ghanaian singer, songwriter, composer and live performer born in Accra-Ghana. I identify as an artist who is not genre-boxed but rather message bound, however, maintaining the core element which is the African sound in my music compositions.
Personally, I view music and its creation as intense therapy. It relieves me, hence, I aim to create relief to the listener through my sound. When one is down, MaaMi’s music is therapy and vice versa.
