My Top 50 SNES Music Tracks. The SNES has the best music of any console ever. The sound chip was leagues ahead of the competition and this allowed developers to have classic old school and/or advanced synthesizer tracks.
Final Fantasy II & III, Chrono Trigger, Donkey Kong Country 1 @ 2, Starfox. If these game and their music can bring back some nostalgic memories and provide a fun listen then you've found the right channel.
No game in the top 50 is represented more than 3 times. This is to provide some variety, because I assure you that otherwise FF3 would have a dozen songs on the list. I'll probably make playlists for my favourite tracks for that game and other individual games in the future.
