Hello lovely earth people, it's time to round up the first little launch of Man-Made Sunshine.
Like I said at the start, I wrote the EP to heal myself, with no intention of doing anything with it or no idea if it would even resonate with anyone. Little did I know how much of a reaction it would have. I've been quite flabbergasted by the amount of people writing to me with their personal stories of how they relate to my own personal stories. I'm honestly so thankful. That's the only thing that really matters to me in life in general, let alone music, connecting and servicing ourselves and each other. It's the only thing I strive for.
I've decided to not do any shows for MMS at the moment, firstly I needed to get some more surgery done so I was fit and fighting for Nothing But Thieves, my health always takes priority and secondly...I know I've got a million more song ideas to play around with, so I'd like to come back in an alien future with a whole new set of songs to play to you (and the ones we like already of course).
For now I wanted to leave you with a little special remix of 'Lifeβs Gonna Kill You (If You Let It)'. I reached out to 'Slaters' online as I f**** loved the production they did on some of my favourite Roy Blair tracks, to my surprise they loved 'Life...' and wanted to put their spin on it. I'm in love with it. I hope you will be too. Thank you for everything, speak to you and see you soon. It's only the beginning π
