I wanna talk about something I’ve noticed abt the dragon puppet community at large. I haven’t been here as long as some, and I’m not as serious about it as most, so… don’t take my words as gospel or anything, I just want to put this out there.
I’ve noticed that a lot of people tend to place a lot of their art’s worth on how many views it gets, or how many subs their channel has and, well… I do get it. I know how disheartening it can be to put time and energy into something you’re passionate about (or at the very least want to do) and it doesn’t get much attention.
At the end of the day, though… the worth of your art isn’t determined by how much attention it gets; it has value through you doing something you enjoy - and for those who’ve felt discouraged to the point where you feel that making these puppets doesn’t bring you as much enjoyment as it once did, my heart goes out to you.
(Idk if this‘ll come across as like. condescending but jic it does, I def apologize for that - I tend to struggle w/ wording things)
