IINSIGHT IN YOGA. Yoga has2branches-1Hath Yoga and 2Raj Yoga(ashtang Yoga).1 emphasises cleansing processes,bodily postures etc as means to spiritual perfection.2 is for the purification of mind by various means.Both1&2 are complementary to each other. Various aspects-Pranayam, Mudras,Shat-chakras,Samadhi, and Sahasrara.Nadi Shudhi Pranayama cleanses the respiratory system.Sheetaly Pranayama calms the enhanced bile in body.Surya Kumbhaka Pranayama fires up heat and sweats the body.Mudras have 2 parts. Mudras1 enhance activity,spur the glands of body and improve health.Mudras2 activate the nervous system and help in awakening the Kundalini power.Shat-chakras (Energy Centres) provide prannadis(channels) and all the big and small actions of body are performed. Concentrating prana and mind together on these Shat-chakras leads to the deepest state of meditation (Samadhi). Sahasrara (Dashamdwara is important in discharging the pranas for moksha or liberation(at the time of leaving body).
