Im gonna be so real... im not sure how to express how i percieve these two creatures.. i try to stick closely to how they would interact in canon BUT also adding some of my own ideas cuz we still have limited info about them and their lore (this hurts so bad... im so hungry for lore)
Even though its confirmed they hated eachother when they were coworkers, i LOVE the idea of them being friends or at least sharing some sort of bond ya know... medkit doesnt trust anyone that easily im pretty sure, and i like to think the incident was like some sort of betrayal, finally seeing subspace's true colors and making him paranoid about who he interacts with
(god i really want to know how the argument happened bc what did bro do to make subspace RIP HIS EYE OUT. ik hes kind of EVIL since he was young but did he really have to do allat... poor medkit)
post disaster subspace and medkit doesnt have much ideas from me, they hate eachother, theyd kill one another INSTANTLY if they had the option to do so, yadda yadda...... maybe medkit at first found it hard to believe the subspace he once knew (predisaster era) is now Gone, but eventually accepts the fact the once 'annoying smart coworker' was probably never there to begin with
(also, its confirmed medkit is NOT that innocent too to begin with, i really wish we knew what this guy did in order to not paint him as some Angel That did nothing wrong. hyper is a little neutral with what happened between them and makes you think what REALLY happened when subspace ripped his eye out... or maybe subspace is giving him a fake story on what happened?? i dunno)
theres moreeeee stuff i would add BUT it would include subkit stuff...(srry yall... i enjoy subkit) what i said before probably includes some subkit bias if you squint a little, but i tried to not mix them much!
