The Museum of Communist Terror aims to inform and educate about the deaths and terror that have taken place in Communist regimes.
We are recording video testimonies from people who were directly affected or who have particular knowledge of the regimes. These testimonies are being edited to make short films which can be shown on social media where they can potentially reach large audiences, particularly on Twitter and Facebook. The video on Holodomor featuring Anne Applebaum has been viewed a total of over 70,000 times. This Youtube channel has been created so that all the videos can be seen in one place. More will be published in the coming months.
The testimonies will also be available to use in exhibits and ultimately in the museum which we hope to create. We are also acquiring artefacts. We are seeking letters and objects which help tell the story. We have some speakers who are available to give talks in in schools and universities.
