Danny's Autism Story - identifies prehistoric sharks!

Being a parent of an autistic child is a constant challenge filled with a roller coaster of emotions from moment to moment. I am a mother of three and my youngest, Danny, was diagnosed with autism in 2009. I am sharing my videos to spread awareness and to reach out to others parents, family members, friends, and/or educators, who know someone on the spectrum. My first video I am sharing is a snap shot of Danny's first 5 years. It shows his typical progression and then how we started noticing differences in behavior and communication compared to our other two children. The red flags for autism that Danny displayed were speech delay, hand flicking/flapping, spinning, becoming withdrawn, becoming obsessed with certain toys, and lining up his toys.
