The WA Forest Alliance is Western Australia’s peak forest conservation body. We were formed in 1990 to provide an umbrella alliance for the many community organisations in Perth and throughout the south-west concerned with forest conservation. We are dedicated to the protection of WA’s native forests and woodlands.
The WA Forest Alliance campaign to permanently protect native forests in Western Australia's southwest has been grassroots organising for decades. Officially established in 1990, WAFA has grown into hundreds of activists, conservationists and campaigners backed by thousands of advocates, followers and patrons.
