Dance for Life Suicide Prevention & Good Mental Health is a nonprofit dedicated to bringing awareness to suicide and finding tools to improve mental health for individuals of all ages. We believe suicide can be prevented by stomping out the stigma associated with mental health and emotional challenges we all have. Talking freely about this subject and focusing on the cause of depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts will help professionals give individuals the help they need. We believe one tool comes from the therapeutic benefits of dance combined with healthy living skills for better social interaction, friendship building, self-discovery, coping, resiliency, inclusion, self-esteem, confidence, respect, treatment of others and mental health in a complex world filled with isolation, loneliness, fear and anxiety through after-school programs in schools and assemblies, podcasts, annual events with workshops and forums and partnering with the mental health community.
