I went out fishing with a friend today and got to play with this big girl today. I didn't bring my gopro today, unfortunately. First cast, right into a spot I saw fish last time, and after a pop off the bottom, I had this girl on. I thought it was a snag for a second until I started feeling the head shakes. She finally came to the surface and I thought she was a smallmouth possibly because of how dark her back was in the water but then I saw those beautiful #crimsoncheeks. What a great way to spend a couple of hours of the day. I hope you were able to get out and enjoy the day today.
