Look at those beautiful seeds! Please go over and help ‪@shawneegrows‬ get her hours for monetization, plus she usually makes it so enjoyable to be with her too.
I will miss you all, as I will not be live later on tonight, dealing with a migraine that is trying to take me out. Hope to be live next Fri-Yay! God Bless and Grow On!

Thank you to all who made it to my live last night, I was amazed how I had all Annual Gardeners show up. But for those of you still curious about ideas for a food forest and what type of resource to look for, for your specific zone, microclimate, here is the missing link.

Reflecting back on eating for muscle strength here is a Creator and Doctor that has some great videos of strengthening exercises for those with muscle loss, or who feel like they are back at the beginning again.
I found this one as a great and simple resource. You just need a stable chair and stable stool or step to perform these.

Thank you everyone who came to my live last night! We had some great discussions on preparing our bodies to build up or maintain our strength by feeding our muscles what they need for the New Year.

So along that theme, here is a list to stock up on to prepare to release some extra weight (from carb loading during the holidays).

Essentials to Stock Up On and a few tips to help you have something to eat on hand when you get a bit hungry. ❤️🙏🏼💪🏼

Fridge

• Eggs (pasture-raised if possible).

• Leafy greens (spinach, kale, arugula).

• Fresh veggies (zucchini, bell peppers, cucumbers, asparagus).

• Avocado.

• Dairy/Non Dairy (unsweetened almond milk, If you know me, you know the brand MALK is what I prefer, it is a bit pricey but has no emulsifiers. grass-fed butter, cream cheese, Greek yogurt).

• Meats (chicken breast, turkey, grass-fed beef).

• Fish (salmon, tuna, or other fatty fish).

• Guacamole or avocados.

Freezer

• Frozen berries (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries).

• Frozen cauliflower rice.

• Frozen broccoli and spinach.

• Grass-fed steaks or ground meats.

• Salmon or other wild-caught fish.

Pantry

• Olive oil, avocado oil, and coconut oil.

• Chia seeds, Quinoa, Buckwheat

• Pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds.

• Spices: garlic powder, paprika, black pepper,
red pepper flake, turmeric, rosemary, ginger, oregano, basal, dill, etc.

• Canned tuna, Mackrel or salmon (wild-caught).

• Low-sugar marinara sauce and alfredo.

• Organic Bone broth or chicken, beef broth (great for soups).

I also like red lentil pasta for when I really want pasta and not zoodles, but if that might make you crave wheat based pasta, stick with zoodles or noodles made from hearts of palm

Weekly Prep Tips

1. Batch Cook Proteins: Grill chicken or turkey in bulk, bake salmon, or cook ground beef/turkey for easy additions to meals.

2. Chop Veggies: Pre-chop cucumbers, bell peppers, and celery for quick snacks or salads, I also do this with radishes and onion.

3. Prepare Snacks: Keep hard-boiled eggs, guacamole, and seed mixes ready to grab and go, along with the above, use pinto beans for making a homemade hummus without garbanzo beans.

Hope this helps!
Love, Blessings and Strength to all y’all!

Thank you, to those who kept me company, and participated in tonight’s pre-Christmas live. Merry Christmas, and Happy Holidays! Below are two DIY Shampoo Recipes like I promised during tonight’s live. Tell me what product you might try to replace in 2025 to get away from more irritating chemicals or synthetic fragrances?

Shampoo Options:

1. Gentle Coconut Milk Shampoo

• Ingredients:

• 1/4 cup canned coconut milk

• 1/4 cup liquid castile soap (unscented or lavender)

• 1 teaspoon almond or jojoba oil (swap with olive oil for nut allergies)

• 5-10 drops essential oil (optional; tea tree or lavender are soothing for the scalp).

• Directions: Mix all ingredients in a bottle. Shake before use. Apply to wet hair and massage into the scalp. Rinse thoroughly.

• Why It Works: Coconut milk is hydrating and gentle, while castile soap cleanses without stripping natural oils.

2. Aloe Vera Shampoo

• Ingredients:

• 1/4 cup aloe vera gel (pure, not the green-dyed kind)

• 1/4 cup liquid castile soap

• 1 teaspoon honey (optional for moisture)

• 5 drops peppermint or eucalyptus essential oil (optional).

• Directions: Mix and store in a pump bottle. Use like regular shampoo.

• Why It Works: Aloe vera soothes the scalp and hydrates without buildup.

Here is the tea recipe card, with some of the herbs that were discussed to support your overly taxed brain this Christmas.
(This is not medical advice, just a small recipe card as a thank you to my subscribers and to help nourish them through this Holiday season. )
I have a PDF of this recipe, and am trying to figure out where and how to share it. As I can not seem to post a link to it here.
