Don Guy holds a M.F.A. from UCLA School of Theatre, Film & Television. He is a an Academy Award nominee for Documentary Short subject, recipient of several international, advertising industry awards including the CLIO, and Cannes Golden Lion. Two of his films are housed in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) in New York City. During his 30-year career he was principal and executive director of two successful, commercial film businesses -- based between NYC and LA, with prestigious global clients from numerous Fortune 500 companies. Don transitioned into academia six years ago undertaking courses combined in theory and production for the University of Tampa and State College of Florida. He imparts deep professional experience to help mentor students and convey pragmatic skills by integrating passions for cinematography, history of film, foundations of story, Documentary film, and finding creative voice.
