WhatsApp to soon roll out email verification
A select group of WhatsApp beta branch users is receiving prompts to confirm their accounts through their personal email addresses. This feature seems to be in the early stages of release, with only a few beta participants reporting its introduction.
Reports about email verification first surfaced, indicating that the WhatsApp team has been actively developing this system since August. The new verification method is designed to enhance the security of user accounts, making it more challenging for unauthorized access.
Although the rollout is presently quite limited, we anticipate that this verification system will become available to all users in the near future. Regarding the verification process itself, it appears to be straightforward: users input their email address and await verification in their inbox. That's all there is to it.

Poco C65 is here with 6.74 Inch Display, Helio G85.
Introducing the Poco C65, the next-generation successor to the Poco C55. This upgraded smartphone boasts several enhancements, including an elevated display refresh rate, improved camera capabilities, and faster charging.
At the forefront, the Poco C65 boasts a 6.74-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1600x720 pixels, accompanied by a high 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 600 nits. While it utilizes an 8-bit panel, it is noteworthy for its TUV certification, ensuring reduced blue light emissions and offering DC dimming.
On the front, you'll find an 8MP selfie camera, a significant improvement over the 5MP unit found on the C55. This front camera is equipped with a soft light ring, providing natural lighting effects, even in low-light conditions.
Turning to the rear of the device, the Poco C65 features a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, as well as a 2MP macro lens at f/2.4, surpassing the capabilities of the depth sensor in its predecessor.
To enhance security and convenience, the phone offers two biometric unlock options: a side-mounted capacitive fingerprint scanner and facial recognition using the selfie camera.
The Poco C65 is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and supports 18W charging, although it ships with a 10W charger in the package. Notably, it has made the transition to a USB-C port, a significant improvement over the Poco C55. Additionally, the Poco C65 retains the convenience of a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Similar to its predecessor, the Poco C65 is driven by a 12nm MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, offering 6GB and 8GB RAM alternatives.
The Poco C65 is available in two configurations: 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, or 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It comes in three color options: black, blue, or purple. Details regarding pricing and availability will be disclosed at a later date.
