In the spirit of what I discussed previously about pursuing projects on academic freedom issues in Canada: I worked with @franceswiddowson1600 on a new documentary (did the videography) you can watch on YouTube! I went along with some other academics to ensure Frances Widdowson's rights as an academic to speak there were protected in light of failures of/at The University of Regina to uphold the academic mission of the university:

If you are interested in scheduling problems and discussions of state-of-the-art results, there's a seminar series [I am not involved with it] called the Scheduling Seminar series. They post their talks on YouTube and stream as well. They recently hosted a talk on some state-of-the-art approximation algorithms for scheduling identical and uniform machines. The underlying theory is from integer programming.

I encourage you to check out this video by Frances Widdowson. As some of you know, I have published the first data set on the institutional capture (with hard numbers) in Computer Science in Canada (pagewizardgames.com/diepledge/). I have worked with Frances and other principled academics in trying to diagnose these rising issues, that presently exclude innocent academics including myself. https://youtu.be/YxpBCu5qSo8?feature=...

I am producing free or accessible high-standard educational content involving Computer Science, especially Theoretical Computer Science. In addition to this, I am creating entertainment, research, and computer games.
Please check out my links, and support my work. It is through your support I can keep doing what I am doing here for everyone.
My name is Daniel. You can call me just Dan or Daniel, or if you want to be more formal, Dr. Page. I am your local Computer Science prof, and have had the pleasure of working for many educational institutions, at many levels. I am a theoretical computer scientist by training. My research has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as Theoretical Computer Science, the Journal of Combinatorial Optimization, and Algorithms and have had the pleasure of reviewing for plenty of journals and top conferences. I am operating independently as an academic.
