Buckshot, from Brooklyn, NY, is the co-owner of Duck Down Music and the frontman for Hip-Hop groups, Black Moon and Boot Camp Clik. Buckshot burst onto the music scene in 93' with Black Moon's debut album, 'Enta Da Stage,' which featured hits such as, "Who Got The Props," & "Gotcha Opin." The project sold over 500K copies and helped launch Duck Down Music, which he started in 1995 with his business partner, Dru Ha.
Buckshot has also collaborated with Grammy-Award winning producer, 9th Wonder. The MC/Producer duo have released three albums together. Buckshot also teamed up with KRS-ONE for a group project entitled 'Survival Skills.'
Buckshot's had the opportunity to work with artists such as: Tupac, Aaliyah, Mary J Blige, Talib Kweli, Q-Tip, Busta Rhymes, Atmosphere, Joey Bada$$, and Immortal Technique.
Fans can look forward to an upcoming Buckshot album, entitled 'BackPack Travels,' which was entirely produced by P-Money (Auckland, NZ). The project will be released on June 24th.
