Hello! I was gonna make a video about this but it's definitely not coming out today, so I thought I'd make an announcement while it's still January 11th. So HAPPY 5TH ANNIVERSARY TO THIS CHANNEL!
I'd say more but I plan on saving it for the video. Either way, praying I lock in tomorrow and get it done and not add it to the pile of recently delayed/cancelled projects because of my procrastination 🙏

END OF THE YEAR UPDATE: 2024 EDITION
Wow. End of 2024 already? Geez time really is going fast... anyways UPDATE TIME

Now, there's been a slight change in plans. For the longest time, after episode 5, there was planned to be one last episode. But, as time went on, and I really fleshed out the story back in 2023/2024, I realized there was sooo much more I wanted to do with the characters and exploring certain perspectives and aspects of the story... SO I'M MAKING AN ENTIRE NEW EPISODE!
That's right, there will be a penultimate right before the finale. Will it push the finale even furthur from release? ABSOLUTELY! To be fair, I really haven't had much time working on it (I'm in my junior year go figure). There HAVE been some scenes storyboarded, and boy... I really don't wanna overhype this but MAN some of these scenes go really hard. I have probably put way too much effort into this but I couldn't be happier. Fingers crossed on getting out at least SOMETHING next year 🤞. Probably a teaser video.
BILLY WIGGLY TAPES
Although Episode 2's been on hiatus, I did have something small planned for Christmas as a tiny treat, but due to both my poor planning and complications with VAs, it's been getting pushed to hopefully next week (I PROMISE I'll get something done without delaying or cancelling it for once 🙏)
In the meantime, I have been tinkering around with the story and fleshing out some characters as of recent. I have a lotta bold ideas for this series and I fear it's not gonna appeal to the demographic it currently has. My plan since day 1 of making the current series is for it to be an ARG first. I hope episode 2 shows the style I want for this series, and it'll probably deter some people, but hopefully bring in some new folks!

RUBREOS (huh wha what's this???)
I feel like since I've been developing this in private for the past 2, almost 3 years, it's about time I publicly announce it, but DON'T expect anything coming out anytime soon.
Alright, so, probably very few of you know about how for a long while, I've wanted to make a series about the red bear himself. I attempted... something... in 2021... that I've come to not like very much... (those who know, snow, and glow). BUT back in 2022 I finally came up with a story draft I liked, and have been working on ever since. So, here's a quick summary of the series:
RUBREOS follows two narratives: RG and Blackbear. RG is a trash-stealing bear alongside his hat-dwelling ghost pal, Wispy. He's always been avoiding humans (as to not be caught and be poked and prodded by a bunch of scientists), but soon learns to use his superhuman abilities for the greater good, and goes from a neutral anarchic to a selfless hero. Meanwhile, the deranged and psychotic Blackbear travels across the multiverse in search of RG, posing a threat to both himself and everyone else.
Again, don't expect something like a PILOT anytime soon. My plan is for this to be my next big indie project after BWT, and I really hope you guys end up loving it as much as I do. I hope you all enjoy each of these projects overall. As much as I've been (dare I say) slacking a little, I still put so much care into each of these series'.

SUMMER UPDATE!!!
Hello and Howdy! This is a very long overdue half-year update (I apologize for that) but it's time do to some updates on stuff YAY HIP HIP HOORAY!
SMILEY CORP: MEL-THA
I've been slowly and steadily working on it. As I've said before, I'm VERY excited for this episode, and it very well may be the best video I've made yet. Some of the voice acting is genuinely so good, and I can't wait to finally release it once it's done. Though, that's not gonna be in a LONG WHILE. Fingers crossed on getting it out around 2025-2026 🤞. To ease the wait, I've thought about doing some minisodes, three to be exact. I'm just hoping some of the VAs will still be on board to reprise their roles. I'd also do a casting call for a few new roles, so keep an eye out if that happens 👀.
BILLY WIGGLY TAPES
I've already talked about what's been going on in my anniversary update, but I wanna mention a few more things. I'm hoping to finalize the script this summer and start getting into production! There's a lot of layers that this has gotta go through before it's done, so don't expect it anytime soon, unfortunately. Though, just like with Smiley Corp, I'm hoping to release some smaller stuff to ease the wait. I promise I'll make the wait worth it and that you all will love this series. This series has become my child and I will fight tooth and nail to complete it start to finish.
Well, those are all the updates on my two big projects! The usual wacky and crazy annual videos will likely continue, just to show this channel's not completely dead. Hope you all have a great summer! Toodaloos and stay cool! 😎 👍

So yeah, the blue robot guy has been around for a while now, and it's also been a while since I've done an update! So...
What's been happening? Why have I been dead silent on progress? Well, if you've read previous update posts here, you know 2023 was my year to focus on myself. I'm much happier now yadda yadda you know you gist. The one catch with it is that some projects have been either very slow or on hold, with BWT suffering the most from this. I haven't gotten and barely touched the script since last January 😭
One of the reasons for the hold us is because I'm kinda... scared to do them. I have a problem of being WAYYYY too ambitious when planning, and then the work seems too overwhelming (I may also just be lazy idk). BUT, I have thought about expanding the BWT crew so this episode doesn't take another year to come out, so be on the lookout for that!
To all you people still sticking by throughout the drought, thank you so much and I promise I'll deliver soon 💪 💪

END OF THE YEAR UPDATE
Welp, It's almost 2024. I think it's about time I explain what's been happening & what the future will be.
This has been the year where I took a break from all projects to really focus on my personal life & try doing something with it. For the past couple of years, it's just felt so... nothing. I've never really hung out with irl friends, I didn't do much outside of school, & spent most days just sitting in my bedroom scrolling through Discord & Twitter, and I'm tired of it. This past year, I've been trying to get out of my comfort zone & doing new things. I still have a long way to go, but I'm so glad I took the first few steps. I'm a lot busier now, but I'm also happier. Much happier.
This time off of projects also made me consider if I even enjoyed working on them. These have been stuff I've worked on for years, since way back when I was a much different person & had a lot more free time. This is not to say I'm cancelling anything, but I have thought about what has motivated me.
Alright, time to discuss plans for 2024!
Billy Wiggly Tape #2's script is pretty much done, but I feel it needs some look-overs. Nothing much else to add.
With the Smiley Corp Finale, the script, voice acting, some artwork & some editing are done, though I may redo some stuff. There's still a lot left to be done, & it's possibly my most ambitious projects yet. Though, there is a lot of stuff that's really cool in it that I'm excited to show.
