Hi I'm James,
I love living in China and my Chinese wife and I have traveled extensively around the country meeting amazing people and experiencing some of the most incredible scenery, architecture and technology that any county has to offer. However more recently Iāve become extremely frustrated by the continuous barrage of negativity promoted by the Western media and press. Here I hope to provide a little bit of an alternative viewpoint, in 17 plus years here Iāve seen huge improvements in such areas as lifestyle, infrastructure, standard of living, all of which can be attributed to the government.
One of my areas of interest is in technology having an IT background. Gone are the days when the label āMade in Chinaā often related to inferior quality products, these days a large amount of the worldās newest and most innovative technology is produced and designed here. Some examples: Huawei, Xiaomi, Oppo mobile phones, DJI, Moza, Alibaba, Tencent ByteDance, NIO, BYD EV companies
