Dutch Mustard is a Netherlands-born, London-based artist who blends ethereal dream-pop with 90s alt-rock and shoegaze elements. Her sound features abstract drones and bouncing psych-infused guitar lines, while her vocals range from delicate whispers to powerful bursts.
In 2022, she released her debut EP, An Interpretation of Depersonalisation, which received airplay on BBC Radio 1’s Future Artists and was praised by Iggy Pop. This was followed by the Beauty EP in 2023, earning spins from Lauren Laverne on 6 Music and support from Don Letts and Amy Lamé.
With endorsements from The Independent, The Line of Best Fit, CLASH, and more, she was also recognized by The Grammy Awards Site as one of ‘6 Female Fronted Acts Reviving Rock.’
Balancing music with bar work at a popular London venue and engineering at a North London studio, SJ constantly learns and collaborates. Her latest single, "Thank You," is out now.
