I have always had the dream of living in a beautiful place and raising animals. Now I live in the Blue Ridge mountains and have been working hard to establish a homestead that provides farm fresh food for my family. Everyday is an adventure as I care for laying hens, meat chickens, pigs, goats, rabbits, fruit trees, berries and vegetables. If there's a project too big for my 5'3" frame to handle, I enjoy the help from my husband, Matt.
We have 4 small children and enjoy building this natural life, embracing the outdoors. Every project has its challenges and I am excited to share the ups and downs of this full life we are living!
