🗣🗣🗣 2024 YEAR-END UPDATE 🗣🗣🗣
So- as expected, unfortunately and regardless of hOW bADLY 😩 I wanted to make it before the year ends, the mix will be ready for early 2025 (January, most likely)
I'm currently working on the video as you read this, but still, I don't want to impossibly rush it. I still want to spend some time with my relatives and stuff, yk holiday season. Hope you understand, I didn't really plan the death of my motherboard mid-process but here we are, at least no data was lost.
Still, I'm making this post to confirm once again, that the mix is still happening! (screenshot of the finished mix in Ableton - yes, those are 7 parts but the mix is as long as usual iykwim 🗿)

so uhhhhh-
first of all, hey 👋 it's been a while. it's that time of the year again and... my PC decided to die 😀
good news is: the mix is going very well and my driver is okay (thank GOD)
bad news is: while I wait for it to get fixed, I can't work on anything so... it's getting delayed 😭
I'm still excited for it, I really like how it's all coming out but I can't really work on it for at least a week from now. It'll probably be ready early-2025-ish, but I'm definitely NOT cancelling or anything, I'm loving it so much to do such thing.
In the meantime, the only spoiler I can give away is that my tracklist is kinda sorta very...

On a serious note: should I bring back simple mashups? by "simple mashup" I mean the following:
- Simpler structure or overall unpolished execution (sound-wise) 😩
- No video edit nor artwork/thumbnail, classic 2-artwork format instead ⚰
- No official Bandcamp release (unless heavily requested?) 🧍♂️
- More likelihood of releasing content more often 👁
In short, like I used to do back in the day, but still doing elaborated mixes from time to time. I have quite some drafts I don't really see potential on making all of the above but are still.. quite something lol. what you say? 🤔

"I wanted to make an announcement..." - 5 months ago 💀
It's been a while since I posted anything here, there's a lot of things I wanted to address but didn't to this day so- LET'S SUM EVERYTHING UP RIGHT NOW 🤑👹💥
1.- The elephant in the room (for me): THANK YOU FOR THE 5K SUBS 😭💕 I really appreciate it, didn't expect to reach such milestone after being gone for like- ever, so this really means a lot to me. THANK YOU ✨
2.- ROCK/STARS became my first ever video to reach 1M views! 🥳 The support I received for that specific mashup is something I'll never stop being grateful about. I hear your suggestions and I'll most definitely have them in mind for future projects! (except adding this mix on streaming platforms. sorry, we mashup artists can't do that yet :c)
3.- No Ariana mashups? I actually made some ES mashups but haven't released them yet bc I wanted to participate in an upcoming collab project that's yet to be announced. Let's just say it essentially requires me to save my mixes until its release. I sWEAR the wait will be worth, so... stay tuned for it! ☀
4.- 2022/2023 Megamixes? This is where this whole text gets interesting I guess 👁. Although I DO HAVE PLANS for these particular mixes to be released eventually, I'll just keep on working on them progressively and release them whenever they're ready because 1) It's late af anyways ⚰ and 2) I have new priorities (both personal and mashup-related), some of which you'll get to understand better in the next paragraph...
5.- 2024 MEGAMIX?! 👀 yes. this is one of those new priorities. 💫 Even though I've been "back" for a while now, it doesn't really feel like I'm completely "bACK" without a good year-end. My main focus right now is to release a good 2024 mashup by the end of the year ON TIME (which technically I haven't done since 2020 💀) so- I'm aLrEaDy working on it 'cause: if I wanna go BIG, I need to make the best of the time that I've got. Hope y'all are as excited for it as I am!
6.- So... all of the above unfortunately means: no more mashup videos until then 😩 don't get me wrong tho, the keyword in that sentence is VIDEOS, like- video edits. I'll STILL be releasing more mashups but my latest release (the CCB remix) is VERY LIKELY to be the last mashup that includes a video edit with it (for the rest of the year). Instead, I'll release them with some fancy visualizers (think the "exes" or "houdini" ones, yk). Hope you understand, THIS IS ALL FOR A GOOD CAUSE 🗣🗣🗣‼‼‼ (Paragraph #5).
PD: It feels good not to write a single paragraph with the words "QUIT" or "BREAK" lol
