This recent test we did in collaboration with the DARE rocketry team is a great example of how a test can show you were asking the wrong question. Enjoy, if you haven't watched it yet!

Nearly 8 years ago, Danish astronaut @Astro_Andreas wished us godspeed from space on our Nexรธ I rocket launch.

Right now, Andreas is on top of a SpaceX Falcon 9 booster as the first European pilot of a Crew Dragon capsule ready to launch to the ISS in 30 seconds!

Godspeed Crew-7!

Tune in to the launch live stream from SpaceX:

For our Danish audience: we will be live on DRDK from 12.20 to 15.30 to talk about the launch!

Martin and Bertil have been working on four fluid level sensors for our large rocket engine test stand. ๐Ÿš€

The two short sensors will be mounted at the bottom of the propellant tanks facing up, to work as calibration devices for the full-length sensors, and to indicate when the tanks are about to run dry.

We also have a video on our capacitive LOX level sensor design, if you're curious:

โ€ช@StanleyCreativeโ€ฌ , the 3D animation guru behind Everyday Astronaut's videos, visited our workshop last weekend to talk about our new BPM-25 rocket engine for Spica and a few other subjects. ๐Ÿš€ The cherry on top is all the amazing animations he made of Spica and BPM-25 to illustrate some of the points. Check it out!
