The French company Mistral has released its new open source AI model, Mistral Small 3, which has 24 billion parameters, is fast, and with fewer parameters, has the same power as larger models such as GPT 4o-mini and Llama-3.3-70B.
This model can be downloaded from HuggingFace and run offline on a computer with LM Studio software, which requires at least 16 GB of free RAM.
