About
A DIFFERENT VIEW began in the "back waters" of Manahawkin, New Jersey in 1993. The first gig ever played was at a pool hall in Barnegat, New Jersey. This is where the band name is derived from. The owner of the pool hall had no name to put on the marquee to bill us as. So, what he did was use the the title from our third track on our demo tape. The song was titled "A Different View". Thus the name stuck and we have been called that ever since...
