Estonian-born, UK-based singer-songwriter Marleen has a soulful style combining pop, R&B and jazz. She is heavily influenced by Tom Misch, Jorja Smith and Lianne La Havas. In her music she is honest and covers topics such as mental health, unrequited love and the struggles we all as humans face in some form. As long as she can remember she has taken part in singing competitions and music programmes and as a teenager started writing her own music as a form of expression.
Marleen has self-released the EP “Chill as Ice” along with various singles including “Book of Life” and first self-produced release “Don't Go”. Currently, she is planning the release of her latest EP. For this one she has further developed her distinctive sound, where there will not be a shortage of colourful chord progressions and memorable top-line melodies. She is looking forward to creating a strong visual message in addition to the music and incorporating her dancing background into her artistry.
