Seeing the new fe2 ost premieres, alongside with all of the collab songs that have been happening lately has made me realise how genuinely unaccepted I feel in this community. No matter what I do I always feel like people donāt appreciate my work and Iām just another composer in this ānew ageā of composers.
Iāve been in this community for ages, began composing in early 2023 when there was hardly any composers in the community apart from Lux, Games, Axmatt and other people.
Iāve only ever collaborated with Games and Axmatt. Snappydoodle helped me the tiniest bit on Radioactive Ravine, but most of that song was a solo effort by me. Whenever I ask others to collaborate I always feel like I am pushed aside and that I am not up to their level. Despite me constantly asking people to collaborate nothing ever comes of it.
The only place that I actually talk to people in the FE2 community is my friend server, which consists of a couple of people from the fe2 community but they are all fairly unknown. Trying to communicate with ābig creators/composersā is like speaking into the void and I just donāt feel like anyone wants to talk to me anymore.
Iāve tried to prove my skill, but what point is there when every time I try to talk to someone I just get shunned out? For example I asked to join the avengers discord server, where they vote for members and I got denied by a poll of literally 2 yes to 14 no votes. I know a lot of people in that server and I trust them, but I donāt know who to trust anymore when I canāt even be let into a friend server with mostly people I already know.
Genuinely may just quit.
