It's the new year, so I think it's time for an update on where I'm going with the channel going into this new year.
I took the rest of December off from anything channel-related to rest from working on the Key Reviews for Kirby Air Ride. But now it's time to reveal the next countdown:
Top 5 Best/Worst Nintendo Presentations
With Nintendo on the verge of revealing the Switch successor, I figured it was a good idea to look back at how Nintendo presented new stuff to us and see what worked and what didn't. Originally, I wanted to do a Top 10 Nintendo Directs video, but I didn't know how to make that idea interesting for 20-30+ minutes. So I decided to include other Nintendo presentations like E3 press conferences to spice things up. And from that, I got the idea to do a worst Nintendo presentations list. But recently, I began ranking the ones I found, and.....while there're enough choices for a top 10 best list, there weren't for the worst list. As a result, I'm doing this idea as a double top 5, so look forward to that.
After the double top 5, I plan to do the next RWBY Volume Reviews. With the RWBY IP now owned by VIZMedia and away from the Bros., I'm hopeful for the future of the series. So much so that I really got an itch to get to work on the Volume 3 review!
After that, my plans are either the next countdown or the next Key Reviews. Don't know which will come first; it'll just be whatever I feel like doing.
And of course, with the Switch's lifecycle winding down, I'll obviously do a Top 10 Favorite Nintendo Switch Games at some point, but because there were quite a few remakes made for the thing, I'm also wanting to do a Top 10 Nintendo Switch Remakes list (probably just the 1st party stuff, though...and there's still a lot to choose from). But these two lists are further down the line, not to mention there are still games that could potentially make the list that I haven't played yet. So who knows when they'll be released, whether I decide to make the Favorite Switch Games list the next list after the double top 5 or save it and the remakes list for later.
So, yeah, that's the roadmap for new content on the channel. But, knowing my track record, it's gonna take quite a while to get it all done...Anyway, I hope you all had a happy holidays! Until next time, this is ChaosKey signing out!

Good news! I've only got one segment of the Key Reviews on Kirby Air Ride left to edit! Once that's finished, all I have to do is put all the segments together, check the audio and then render it to be ready to upload. Don't know how long it's gonna take me, but my plan is to release the review next month. So stay tune!

You might have noticed other content creators and personalities moving over to Bluesky permanently. I will continue to be on Twitter(X), but I’m gonna try to make more posts on Bluesky, with some posts made simultaneously on both platforms.

It’s been a bit since the announcement, but yes! The next Key Reviews is on Kirby Air Ride!
In the update video, I mentioned that it’s currently in development. Well, I should probably tell you that I haven’t started any video editing. I still have some gameplay footage of other games that will appear in the video that I need to record. In fact, I decided to purchase a better capture device to record higher resolution footage of some of games you’ll see in the video. That being said, I’ve recorded a huge chunk of Air Ride footage AND recorded my vocal audio. Though, the vocal audio still needs to be cleaned up. I don’t know how long it’ll be before I finish the review and upload, especially since I’ll be out of town to attend a wedding at the start of May. But rest assured, things are coming along nicely. But this might be my last update on the subject until the review releases, so look forward to it.
(Update: I tried posting this when the platform was all buggy and the subscribers feed wasn’t working. I got an error message when trying to post it, but…I…guess it posted anyway once everything was fixed…huh.)

I should probably inform you all about this here since some of you may not follow me on Twitter (X).
I'm sure many of you are aware of the controversies surrounding Chuggaaconroy recently. Many people have decided to remove videos of theirs that mention him in some capacity. I have featured clips from Emile in the past (mainly for games I can’t record) and gave credit as you do. Will I be removing those videos? Well, I’ve thought about it and made a decision...
The short answer: No.
The long complicated answer: I’ve poured too much work into those videos, especially Smash Bonanza Month. To just get rid of them when those Chugga clips only make up a fraction of those videos I don’t think is enough to justify taking them down. And I really don’t like the idea of trimming down a countdown and leave out a whole entry. My hope is that people who stumble upon my videos now understand that they were made and released BEFORE all of this came to light, as evident by the upload dates.
Now, with that said, I’ve made the decision to no longer use clips of Emile’s videos in mine and instead use different clips from elsewhere, mostly likely trailer footage as I’ve done in the past (mainly with Kid Icarus: Uprising).
I hope people are understanding of my decision on this. I wanted to be fair on my decision rather than just give in to pressure.

We’re in the new year! I hope everyone had a great Holiday season! I’d like to take this time to lay out the current plans for the channel.
As mentioned before, my next project is the next Key Reviews. I haven’t started anything on it yet as I took the rest of November and December (apart from uploading Smash Bonanza Month) off. But I plan to at least start playing and recording the game I’m reviewing this month. And the only hint I’ve given so far is it’s a GameCube game I’ve never played before. Still gonna keep it a secret for the time being.
After this next Key Reviews will be the next countdown. This one I’m also keeping a secret for now, but it’s a countdown idea I’ve had for a while. Heck, once you see what it is, you’ll want me to make a list on the reverse of this idea. And I do plan on doing so.
And then, after the next countdown will be RWBY Volume Reviews: RWBY Volume 3.
Given my track record, it’s possible the next RWBY Volume Reviews and the next countdown after the next countdown won’t come out this year, but I’m still gonna try to at least get RWBY Volume Reviews out.
But yeah, stuff is planned and I’m looking forward to releasing it all. That’s gonna do it for this update, so until next time, see ya!
