About COMBAT BASE
"Combat Base" as our name is derived from the one knee up "ready for combat" posture ..........hips are low, rocking always ever so slightly for continuous balance/base. The spine is rounded and coiled, ready to execute a variety of guard passes, defend a barrage of attacks to include not only sweeps and submissions but strikes. This position allows efficiency and mobility.... the ability to grapple or break away into the stand-up game!
