Not long after after getting my pilots license, life intervened with a growing family and I could no longer justify the money I put toward airplane rental. I gave up on the notion that I'd ever be able to fly again.

Fast forward 30 plus years and I was getting close to retirement and the flying bug surfaced big. Thanks to guidance and help from my local EAA chapter, I passed my flight physical and my biennial flight review and I was back in the game. My wife and I determined that we would own instead of rent and here we are with our very own airplane!
