Carlow College, St. Patrick’s is a Higher Education Institution specialising in degrees in arts, humanities and social studies. Located in the heart of Carlow town, in Ireland’s South-East region, the College has a long, proud history of supporting students to succeed in their studies and future careers. It is the second-oldest third level institution in Ireland.
The College currently offers Level 7 and 8 degree programmes in Arts & Humanities; English & History; Applied Social Studies (Professional Social Care); Psychology; and Social, Political and Community Studies – with two new undergraduate degrees launching in 2023, including a B.A. (Hons) in Philosophy, Politics & Sociology and B.A. (Hons) in Media, English & Culture. Furthermore, the College offers Level 9 programmes in Social Care and Irish Regional History.
