Hello, Friends! I wanted to share the rest of my photos from my recent visit to Tennessee with y'all.
* The Old Mill in historic Pigeon Forge is a 200 year old grist mill. The mill is still operational, in fact the next photo shows a few of the products. I did bring home a few packages of cornmeal and grits. Besides the grist mill, they have a restaurant and a general store. The Old Mill was located in a more quiet area of Pigeon Forge that is off of that main busy touristy strip and worth the visit. Isn't it beautiful.
*I've included a photo of those beautiful smokey mountain views. The weather could not have been more perfect during our visit.
*One evening, we had dinner at the local Brazillian Steakhouse, Gaucho Urbano. If you've ever been to a Brazillian steakhouse then you know it is quite an experience with the wonderful fresh food salad bars and then they bring around all of the wonderful meats to carve for you to enjoy. A meal like this is a special treat. I really enjoyed the lamb and Mr. J's favorite was the Picanha (house special beef). Besides the fresh salad bar the meal comes with a side of potatoes, fried polenta, and sauteed banana.
* Our last meal before the drive home was breakfast at Flapjacks, Mr. J's pick. They certainly do not let anyone leave hungry. Check out that plate of food, y'all! Plus, it came with 2 pancakes. Their hashbrown casserole was amazing!
