For some reason the video I uploaded earlier today only had the first 4 seconds and it was all black. It is fixed now.

At 10:30 hours Dexter stopped breathing, the vet pronounced him at 10:34. He went very peacefully, he knew, he was ready to go.
He was the best friend I have ever known, he touched so many lives, and from his cancer diagnosis in October 2020, we still got another good year and a half, and up until 2 nights ago he and I were still taking evening walks on the beach.
He lived a full and active life, and was loved by all.
The last words he heard in this world were "You're the best friend I have ever had, you have been a good boy, go find Grandpa!"

For those of you who hung around the wrecker service, the welding shop, or knew us on the road, from photography, or from YouTube, Dexter has touched so many.
Unfortunately the time has come for Dexter to part ways with this world.
Sometime soon we are going to have to make the choice that I have been dreading for so long, possibly within the next few days.
If you would care to donate to help with the cost of the vet to come to the boat, and give him the dignified end that he so deserves surrounded by people he knows and loves. You may do so by contributing to this campaign.

I haven't been on much lately, Losing grandpa Bill was pretty rough, and I am sad to say that soon Dexter will be joining him. I don't know how long yet, but I suspect that it will be a matter of weeks, if not days. He is going down hill quickly. Once I get this behind me I will be back to making videos soon.
