Hi all, its been sometime since I’ve been in the Workshop, the reason being I’ve been working on a shutdown (or Turnaround as it’s known in this industry) over the last two months. The work regime has been 13hr days, working 13 days straight followed by one rest day. I’m hoping to finish out the last swing by the end of July and then I’ve got some family time to make up. I’m looking forward to getting back into the shop when all is done and dusted and enjoying some creative time. I have made a start on the Accessory Caddy with slide draws for the Victoria Mill, this is a real necessity as everything is currently layed out on the floor making it difficult to walk around. There will be a video coming out on this build along with the build of a Table Mount Sky Crane to get the gear into location on the Mill. Anyway, everybody, please stay safe and look after yourself, along with your family and friends through these Corona Virus times.

Welcome to my Channel with lots of happenings around my little home workshop. I spend alot of time fixing things which sucks because it stops me from what I enjoy doing, making things. When I do get the chance to make things it’s usually to expand the capabilities of my existing machinery. Why have 3 machines when with a little bit of imagination you can have one machine to do 3 different jobs, this is especially so when money and space is tight. Down the track I'll get my foundry up and going again but greatly scaled back from where it was a couple of years ago.
