Sharing a recent vid of the family. We were having a little fun over the holidays at a family's member 75th birthday. That was not the music we were actually jamming to! 🤣 If you ever get a chance to do a rotating video- do it! So much fun. The older folks were having a ball as much as the young ones!

Abundance. Walking into the house one night, we spotted a deer 🦌 just hanging out in the yard. Normally when people come closer, they move on. But she was just chillin', looking back at us like "Sup, y'all good?".
The next morning, we realized why she didn't move on. Some fresh ringless honey mushroom had popped up in the yard. She wasn't about to miss out on a great meal! Was gonna grab some for our lunch but decided to let it be.
That evening, she brought her babies with her to feast. Again, they just hung out while we were outside. Checking us out, but clearly with no worries.
Deer frequent our yard regularly (which is in a densely populated neighborhood). It's likely because we don't use any chemicals and we allow a variety of native plants to grow, many of which are edible and/or medicinal.
Standard lawn grass is the norm around here, which is neither edible nor medicinal lol.
Wonderful things happen when we align ourselves with nature.

Sleepy heads. No matter how big they get they will always be my babies. We woke them up super early in the morning to head out in Turtle, our van. When I say super early, what I mean is 8am. Might as well as be 5am in teenager world. I'm an early bird, Mike is a night owl. For teens, it appears it doesn't matter- something about that age seem to make them allergic to mornings 🤣 -Aasha
