JACK LALANNE'S EUROPEAN HEALTH SPA television commercial
I first met and talked with Jack LaLanne in 1980 at the grand opening of his health spa in San Bernardino, California, right across the freeway from Loma Linda University where I was a graduate nutrition student in the city of Loma Linda (now known as the Blue Zone of America). Jack's spa, was the first health club/gym that I ever joined which got me started joining and regularly working out in gyms wherever I lived, and still do to this day. Jack LaLanne first entered my life then, and later we came together again several times, eventually becoming good personal friends with him and his wife Elaine, and their son Jon. I even once exercised with Jack and Elaine as a guest on his famous national television exercise show, THE JACK LALANNE SHOW. Even though Jack is no longer with us, still to this day, everytime when I workout at my local gym or any gym, there is always a moment that I think of Jack and the inspiration he gave me to be a part of a gym to keep fit. And it all started, the first time I met him in 1980 at the JACK LALANNE'S EUROPEAN HEALTH SPA in San Bernardino, California as a young university student. Thank you Jack!
