Comet C-2023, also known as Tsuchinshan-ATLAS comet, can be seen in the southwestern sky for a couple more weeks. Here are two photos I took a few days ago. Since this is an aviation channel, look closely and three airplanes can be seen thanks to their beacon and strobe lights streaking across the sky in these 8 second exposures.

The latest poll asked if the Wright brothers used a catapult system to assist the takeoff on their first successful flight and the answer is NO, they did NOT use a catapult system. The first catapult system was used in September of 1904 on the Wright Flyer II. There is photographic evidence of this as well as the telegram Orville sent to his father after their 4th and final flight on December 17, 1903. Most videos shown as the "FIRST FLIGHT" are NOT the first flight. The Wrights flew in the prone position on the Wright Flyer I and II but sat upright on the flights that are recorded that are seen in videos today. That is how one can easily tell the flight is NOT the first flight in the videos.
