SUNDAY 2 SUNDAY follows Sunday (Sunny), his ambitions, his love (Star) and ultimately, his struggle balancing both - his struggle finding his way through.
SUNDAY 2 SUNDAY helped me travel back, across space and time, but also to a potential future. When I think of the location where S2S is set, I think of an Afrofuturistic Lagos - still riddled with traffic and stress, but always beaming with life and the joy of community. I see it so clearly.
My creative director Ria, thank you forever. Your vision, talent and art complements and completes mine. I cannot count the number of times your creativity has rocked me - it is astonishing. You see the world is such colour, so much more than I can fathom. I can never be more grateful to have you in my life as my collaborator. Your art will change so many lives. I will preach your gospel forever. I love you ❤️
Thank you to my managers, Ethan and Ben for believing in me for so long. Peddling my music in places and spaces I could not comprehend. Giving your advice, your support, your time.
