I'm so sick of people expecting me to support R*ssia because it "liberated my country", so I should be thankful to them.
First of all, that was Tsarist Russia like 150 years ago, now this country and the whole world are different. Second of all, it helped for Bulgaria's liberation during the Russo-Turkish war, but not because they really cared about us, but because of their own territorial claims.(saying for people that don't know) Nowadays, this kind of a statement is really popular for russian propagandists, the most common cause is making us look unthankful and feel dependent on them, or just instillation of guilt.
About 60 years after the "liberation", the occupational Red army entered Bulgaria, commiting many atrocities and then enslaving us, as well as all of Eastern Europe for 45 years. We were soviet puppets, prove me wrong.
Why should I support what Russia is doing? It's similar to a terrorist dictatorship, despite denying it, invading its neighbors FOR NO ACTUAL NON MADE UP REASON. It has a president that changes the constitution to say that he should be in charge until idk when but still making unfair elections, imitation of democracy + most of his opponents get poisoned, jailed or killed. Some other smart brains, so called "Russian philosophers" yapping that "Romania will soon be a part of Russia"🤦♂️
Not to mention that the similarities between the Third reich and Russia right now are unbelievable.
For example, intervention in foreign elections and constantly installing puppets everywhere or sabotaging anything that's not Russian.
The main question is: Why should i support all of this?
I would support Russia if it was a peaceful, free and prosperous European country, Free russia🔛🔝
And ofc no hate to peaceful anti-war Russians out there❤️
