A collection of my poetry put to music and images. I began writing poetry in 1966 - inspired by listening to Stanley Holloway's monologue, "Albert and the Lion". I thought, "I could do that!" and wrote my first poem. In the beginning, my poems were all humorous, in Yorkshire dialect. During a house move in 2004 my collection of poetry, kept in a book, was lost. So most of the poems on this channel date only back as far as 2005, apart from the odd one or two earlier ones I can remember by heart.
