स्वल्पमप्यस्य धर्मस्य त्रायते महतो भयात् ॥40॥ 🪷
🪈nehābhikrama-nāśho ’sti pratyavāyo na vidyate
svalpam apyasya dharmasya trāyate mahato bhayāt.🪷
🪈BG 2.40: Working in this state of consciousness, there is no loss or adverse result, and even a little effort saves one from great danger.🪷
🪈BG 2.40: इस चेतनावस्था में कर्म करने से किसी प्रकार की हानि या प्रतिकूल परिणाम प्राप्त नहीं होते अपितु इस प्रकार से किया गया अल्प प्रयास भी बड़े से बड़े भय से हमारी रक्षा करता है।🪷

🪈एषा तेऽभिहिता साङ्ख्ये बुद्धिर्योगे त्विमां शृणु |
बुद्ध्या युक्तो यया पार्थ कर्मबन्धं प्रहास्यसि || 39||🪷
🪈eṣhā te ’bhihitā sānkhye buddhir yoge tvimāṁ śhṛiṇu
buddhyā yukto yayā pārtha karma-bandhaṁ prahāsyasi.🪷
🪈BG 2.39: Hitherto, I have explained to you Sānkhya Yog, or analytic knowledge regarding the nature of the soul. Now listen, O Parth, as I reveal Buddhi Yog, or the Yog of Intellect. When you work with such understanding, you will be freed from the bondage of karma.🪷
🪈 BG 2.39: अब तक मैंने तुम्हें सांख्य योग या आत्मा की प्रकृति के संबंध में वैश्लेषिक ज्ञान से अवगत कराया है। अब मैं क्योंकि बुद्धियोग या ज्ञानयोग प्रकट कर रहा हूँ, हे पार्थ! उसे सुनो। जब तुम ऐसे ज्ञान के साथ कर्म करोगे तब कर्मों के बंधन से स्वयं को मुक्त कर पाओगे।🪷

🪈सुखदु:खे समे कृत्वा लाभालाभौ जयाजयौ |
ततो युद्धाय युज्यस्व नैवं पापमवाप्स्यसि || 38||🪷
🪈sukha-duḥkhe same kṛitvā lābhālābhau jayājayau
tato yuddhāya yujyasva naivaṁ pāpam avāpsyasi. 🪷
🪈BG 2.38: Fight for the sake of duty, treating alike happiness and distress, loss and gain, victory and defeat. Fulfilling your responsibility in this way, you will never incur sin.🪷
🪈BG 2.38: कर्तव्यों पालन हेतु युद्ध करो, युद्ध से मिलने वाले सुख-दुख, लाभ-हानि को समान समझो। यदि तुम इस प्रकार अपने दायित्त्वों का निर्वहन करोगे तब तुम्हें कोई पाप नहीं लगेगा।🪷

🪈हतो वा प्राप्स्यसि स्वर्गं जित्वा वा भोक्ष्यसे महीम्।
तस्मादुत्तिष्ठ कौन्तेय युद्धाय कृतनिश्चयः ॥37॥🪷
🪈hato vā prāpsyasi swargaṁ jitvā vā bhokṣhyase mahīm
tasmād uttiṣhṭha kaunteya yuddhāya kṛita-niśhchayaḥ🪷
🪈BG 2.37: हे कुन्ती पुत्र! यदि तुम युद्ध करते हो फिर या तो तुम मारे जाओगे और स्वर्ग लोक प्राप्त करोगे या विजयी होने पर पृथ्वी के साम्राज्य का सुख भोगोगे। इसलिए हे कुन्ती पुत्र! उठो और दृढ़ संकल्प के साथ युद्ध करो।🪷
🪈BG 2.37: If you fight, you will either be slain on the battlefield and go to the celestial abodes, or you will gain victory and enjoy the kingdom on earth. Therefore arise with determination, O son of Kunti, and be prepared to fight.🪷

🪈अवाच्यवादांश्च बहून्वदिष्यन्ति तवाहिता: |
निन्दन्तस्तव सामर्थ्यं ततो दु:खतरं नु किम् || 36||🪷
🪈avāchya-vādānśh cha bahūn vadiṣhyanti tavāhitāḥ
nindantastava sāmarthyaṁ tato duḥkhataraṁ nu kim.🪷
🪈BG 2.36: Your enemies will defame and humiliate you with unkind words, disparaging your might. Alas, what could be more painful than that?🪷
🪈BG 2.36: तुम्हारे शत्रु तुम्हारी निन्दा करेंगे और कटु शब्दों से तुम्हारा मानमर्दन करेंगे और तुम्हारी सामर्थ्य का उपहास उड़ायेंगें। तुम्हारे लिए इससे पीड़ादायक और क्या हो सकता है?🪷

सम्भावितस्य चाकीर्ति र्मरणादतिरिच्यते || 34||🪷
🪈akīrtiṁ chāpi bhūtāni kathayiṣhyanti te ’vyayām
sambhāvitasya chākīrtir maraṇād atirichyate.🪷
🪈BG 2.34: People will speak of you as a coward and a deserter. For a respectable person, infamy is worse than death.🪷
🪈BG 2.34: लोग तुम्हें कायर और भगोड़ा कहेंगे। एक सम्माननीय व्यक्ति के लिए अपयश मृत्यु से बढ़कर है।🪷

🪈अथ चेतत्त्वमिमं धर्म्यं संग्रामं न करिष्यसि |
तत: स्वधर्मं कीर्तिं च हित्वा पापमवाप्स्यसि || 33||🪷
🪈atha chet tvam imaṁ dharmyaṁ saṅgrāmaṁ na kariṣhyasi
tataḥ sva-dharmaṁ kīrtiṁ cha hitvā pāpam avāpsyasi..🪷
🪈BG 2.33: If, however, you refuse to fight this righteous war, abandoning your social duty and reputation, you will certainly incur sin.🪷
🪈BG 2.33: यदि फिर भी तुम इस धर्म युद्ध का सामना नहीं करना चाहते तब तुम्हें निश्चित रूप से अपने सामाजिक कर्तव्यों की उपेक्षा करने का पाप लगेगा और तुम अपनी प्रतिष्ठा खो दोगे।🪷
