The selection of videos were once devoted primarily to instructing my 100-level World Geography course. Based on increased interest over the last two years or so, I decide to grow the channel beyond the needs to my courses.
Since creating the channel and posting videos, I have received emails from all over the world. People are watching and paying attention! But, I still have much work to do in helping bring together videos of my own, curating videos made by others, and encouraging native people to create and post their own geography videos.
Everyone needs fundamental geography education to promote mutual understanding and encourage examination of societal and cultural concerns.
I hope my efforts add to the educational value of YouTube.
