Update from the Farm & Family 💪✈️
Hello, everyone!
We wanted to take a moment to share some updates with you. Shelley’s surgery, which was scheduled for today, actually took place on Tuesday, and we’re thrilled to report that all went well! The doctor reconstructed her ACL and found that her MCL is healing well on its own, so no work was needed there. He also cleaned up some arthritis and trimmed a flap from a tear on her meniscus. Today marks day 3 post-surgery, and Shelley is well on her way to recovery! Her pain is manageable, the incisions look great and are healing nicely, and her spirits are high! 🎉. Thank you for all the prayers and well-wishes—they’ve meant the world to us. 💚
On another note, we want to share that our daughter recently deployed to the Middle East, flying F-15Es in support of US missions in the area. It’s an entirely different feeling being the dad of a deployed daughter in combat—definitely different from being the one in the cockpit myself. I’m not sure I love this feeling, but I’m incredibly proud of her.
We won’t be putting out any new videos this week as we focus on family, and we hope you all understand. Thank you for your support and patience during this time. We’ll keep you updated!

Happy Fall from SW Missouri! We got a bit of rain this morning – a gift for our grazing pastures that could use every drop right about now! Nothing like that fresh, earthy scent after a good rain, and the cows seem to be enjoying the extra green. 🐄🌱

Hey everyone, it's Shelley!
Just wanted to give y’all a quick update on my knee injury. I’m feeling much better, and we finally have a surgery date—I'll be having knee reconstructive surgery on November 8th. 🎉
Thank you all so much for your continued prayers and support—it means the world to me! I’ll keep you updated as I go through the recovery process. Please keep those prayers coming as I gear up for the next step in healing. 🙏

Happy Fall from Air2Ground Farms!
As the cool breeze rolls in and the leaves start to turn, we’re wrapping up meat chicken season for the year! 🐓 It’s been another amazing run with our pasture-raised birds, and we’ve loved every minute of raising them on our regenerative farm. The garden’s winding down too, but we’re still enjoying those last bits of homegrown goodness while we prepare for a cozy fall. 🌻🥕
Thanks for all your support this season—y’all make what we do so rewarding! We’ll keep you posted on what’s next, but for now, enjoy the crisp air, the changing leaves, and maybe even a warm bowl of something made with our pasture-raised chicken. 🧡🍁

We're taking a few weeks off from YouTube -- we even have farm sitters for a full week which will allow Rich to take his first vacation in 3 years -- a full week on the Atlantic Coast of Florida! See you again in August!!
For the Air2Ground Meats store, we will be open on 25 July and then again on 6 August.
For the Forsyth Farmers Market, our daughter will be there this Saturday, 20 July, and then someone will be there again on 10 August.

Rich and Shelley will both be in Ava tomorrow, 22 June 2024 for the opening of Air2Ground Meats! The store is across the street from the Ava town square. We will be open from 9:00am-3:00pm on Saturdays. Our daughter will be at our Forsyth Farmers Market booth to ensure you can get all of your Air2Ground products. We hope to see you tomorrow!

The weather is NOT looking great for tomorrow! We have decided not to set up in Ava, MO tomorrow. We will be at our indoor Forsyth Farmers Market Booth tomorrow from 8-2!! Come out and see us; we will have a HUGE variety of GMO-Free Pork, Lamb, Chicken and Grass-Only Beef!! We look forward to see you!!
