Hi everyone, I’d really appreciate your advice. The most recent video I posted, I put my all into editing it and it was the most I’ve enjoyed making something in a long time. I thought if I’m really enjoying what I’m creating, it would translate to others enjoying it as well, but it appears it’s not being received well. Someone even said my channel is going “downhill” and now I can’t stop crying. I’m really trying my best. I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong. If you can please give me your honest feedback of what I’m doing wrong, I’d really appreciate it. Thank you.

The first photo was taken 13 years ago! 😱 So I decided to recreate it 13 years later! My style may not have changed, but my life has COMPLETELY took a 180, thanks to you guys! 🥹🫶❤️ 13 years ago, I was in university studying to get a bachelor's in nursing, while also working 2 minimum wage jobs as a housekeeper and cashier at a supermarket, and would need to be careful not to overlap the schedules! Needless to say, I was miserable, stressed out, and way over my head in debt. The only 15 minutes of happiness I had was my 1 break where I would watch @DashieGames.
I have always been very shy and quiet for most of my life, and it wasn't until university that I realized I need to be able to speak in order to do job interviews! But when you have no friends, there's no one to speak to... So over 10 years ago, I started my first YouTube channel @LittleMermaidArielle to challenge myself to start speaking! I posted beauty/lifestyle videos for a year (because I was inspired by beauty gurus at the time), until I realized... I don't even wear makeup lol! Unfortunately I deleted most of the videos on that channel... Rookie mistake! It just wasn't aligned with who I am, and so I started this channel @GamingMermaid! 🧜♀️
The Sims 4 was about to release, so I started making Sims 4 CAS videos with just my voice and felt so welcomed by the Sims community and the rest is history! I've made a few pivots along this decade-long journey, from Sims 4, to Roblox, to Gacha Life, and I feel I am long overdue for another change... But the question is: Where do I go next? What type of content do you want to see from me? More Roblox rp's, Minecraft, etc...? Or maybe I need to do something else... 🤔
I went from being shy, quiet, and alone, to being able to actually speak, having more confidence in myself, paying off all my student loan debt and car in full, buying my first house 5 years ago, traveling the world whenever I want, and most importantly, growing a community of the sweetest people, all because I decided to take a leap of faith in posting on YouTube. I am so happy and grateful to be in the position I am today, and I thank you so much for your support over this past decade! 🥰
