Chicago based violinist Henry Zheng leads a diverse and fulfilling career as a chamber musician, recitalist, and orchestral performer. A full time member of contemporary music ensemble Lakeshore Rush, Henry also serves as the ensemble’s executive director. Recent highlights include performances with the three time Grammy Award nominated Spektral Quartet, the Kontras Quartet, and Access Contemporary Music. Henry can often be seen on stage with critically acclaimed and internationally recognized artists such as Andrea Bocelli, Billy Idol, Sarah Brightman, Hansen, and many more. In his spare time, Henry enjoys video games, the art of pickling and fermentation, and all things horror. Henry resides in the Edgewater neighborhood of Chicago with his girlfriend and their beloved cat, Tommy.
